Mikey is a 15 hand 12 year old black gelding. He is really sure footed in the tough terrain and goes anywhere we ask with no hesitation. He has been there and done that. Up or down around it or thru it’s all ok with him. He crosses the creeks, picks his way thru the Rocky River bottom and always knows where his feet are. He takes leads, stops and backs with ease and will side over to open and close the gates. A hop right in the trailer and stands quiet for the farrier. He gets along well with the other horses in the arena and will lead or follow and will ride in the middle of the pack. In town the hustle and bustle of barking dogs, lawn equipment and fast passing cars are no bother for him. Before coming to California he was used on the ranch to gather, sort and doctor cattle. He knows what a day’s work is. Good foot and bone. He will go barefoot also. Take him to the mountains and trail ride him or put him back to work. He is handy and fun and has has some speed to him. 100% safe and sound. Very fun horse. Watch the video!
