Argo is a gentle and very attractive well put together 9 year old sorrel gelding that stands 15.1 and is put together the way one should be. If you are looking for a user friendly solid trail and ranch horse you should take a good look at him. Argo has an easy one hand neck rein, a nice slow jog and will lope out on the correct lead when asked. He has a good stop, backs easy and will maneuver his feet where ever we ask. Rides bareback in a halter if you so wish. This is a rock solid trail horse to ride out anywhere from our busy neighborhood streets to our rugged mountain trails. He is sure footed and goes anywhere we point him calmly and confidently. He will lead or follow, ride in the middle of the group as well as go at it alone. Rides bridle-less. He is good about all we have encountered on the trails like mountain bikes, joggers, unleashed dogs and crosses the river, the trail bridges and is very sure footed in tough rocky terrain. He carries the flag, the tarp and all the other sensory stuff we have thrown at him. Argo is equally as solid riding a around our busy neighborhood streets. Fast passing cars, trucks with trailers, motorcycles charging barking dogs at the fence have not bothered him. He has been used on the ranch and done all aspects of ranch work like pasture roping, branding, gathering, sorting are just some of a days work for him. This is a really good gelding that would be a great addition to most anyone. Take him to the mountains, put him to work or just ride around the arena. Whatever you wish is ok with him.
