Jackpot is a super friendly and good natured AQHA 4 year old, 15.2 Hand Red Dun gelding with good bone and nice big feet. This is a very gentle and personable horse. He has good training and is very user friendly to ride and be around. Jackpot will be the first one to see you coming and will happily come to greet you ready and willing to go out for a ride.
In the arena he has a good neck rein, will collect up, has a nice jog and will lope out on cue always taking the correct lead. Good stop, backs soft and side passes with ease to open and close the gates. He is a very carefree kind of horse who enjoys being with people. He is outstanding to ride on our mountain trails and around our neighborhood. On the trail he will lead , follow, ride quietly in a group or out alone. He navigates our steep rocky terrain very well. Crosses the river, trail bridges as well as other trail obstacles. Jackpot is equally as enjoyable to ride around our neighborhood. He is solid and settled with all of the things we ride past in the urban environment from fast passing vehicles, farm animals, barking dogs to all of the odd things people throw out on the curb. He is very much of a get along kind of guy and Will most likely find you before you find him out in the pasture. Gets along well turned out with other horses and is fine in a small pen or a box tall as well. Jackpot has been used on the ranch and has a little ranch roping experience. He is always gentle to ride and be around and has no vices or bad habits. Good about everything we throw at him. 100% safe sane and sound.
