One grand bay, aka Zeppelin is an attractive gentle and good natured AQHA 5 year old 15+ hand bay gelding. Thick made with good foot and bone. This is a user friendly kind of a horse with great ground manners. He loves people and loves attention and has been in good hands his whole life. Easy one hand neck reins, a slow jog and will lope out on cue on the correct lead. Good stop, backups and roll backs with ease and will lope out of his tracks. He side passes over to open and close the gates as well. Zeppelin will side over to anything so you can climb up and mount for easy on and off. This is a very relaxed and settled horse to ride out anywhere. From our busy neighborhood streets to our rugged mountain trails. He is Barbara’s first pick if we go out for a trail ride. He is very dependable and sure footed. Picks his way thru the steep rocky terrain like a working ranch horse should. He is happy to lead or follow, ride in the middle of a group and will ride out on his own as well. Crosses the river, trail bridges, downed trees and such with confidence and ease. Handles the mountain bikes, hikers, joggers and un leashed dogs very well. He is equally good to ride around our busy neighborhood streets. As you can see in his videos not much bothers or worries him. This horse has been used for everything on the ranch from pasture roping, working cattle, gathering and used in the branding pen. He has been started on the hot heels and has been out of the box a few tomes. Stands for the farrier, trailers easy and gets along well with the other horses. Zeppelin would be suitable for just about any level of rider. Safe for a novice but has the skills and potential to be allot more than a trail horse. Zeppy is a very special horse.
