Tari is a super cute and well bred, well put together 7 year old 14.3 hand AQHA gelding. This is Barbara’s current favorite in the herd. He is personable, kind, very gentle and well trained. He is handy when asked, collects up nicely, has a smooth jog, lopes out on cue, changes leads and stops and backs well. He will side pass over to open and close the gates and will pick you up on the fence or whatever we side him up to for easy on and off. Tari is outstanding to ride out anywhere on our city streets and mountain trails. Fast passing cars, barking charging dogs, lawn mowers and the other city stuff are of no concern to him. Out on the trails he crosses the river, trail bridges, down trees and is very sure footed in our rough terrain. He will go straight up or down anything we ask. The mountain bikes and joggers do not bother him and same with the un leashed dogs in the hills. Tari is also outstanding with the trail obstacles. From riding with the flag, tarp, bag of cans, crossing the tarp or dragging the barrel he is as solid as they come. This is a really fun horse to ride and be around. He loves people, loves attention and is very good with the other horses in the pasture. He has done all the ranch work and has been pasture roped on dragging, sorting, branding and doctoring. This horse has been good about everything we’ve thrown at him. He is an absolute rock star. If Barbara could keep one this would be a contender! 100% safe sane and sound.
