Freddie is a super cute and very gentle 9 year old Friesian gelding. He stands 15 hands and is black as a crow. Every time we ride him out we are told how beautiful he is. This is a very good natured user friendly horse to ride and work with. Stands tied quiet for grooming, saddling up and mounting. He has a very comfortable jog and will do a beautiful extended trot as well. He takes his leads, stops, backs up and will side over to open and close the gates. Neck reins and will move off leg cues as well. He rides bareback and in a halter. Freddie is safe, solid and dependable to ride out anywhere. He is quiet around our neighborhood streets as well as out on the mountain trails. Passing cars, trucks and motorcycles along with trash trucks and lawn equipment in use have been no concern to him. He will lead or follow, ride quietly with other horses and goes out on his own. He crosses the river, streams, trail bridges and tarps with no fuss. He is sure footed and dependable in steep rocky terrain and is a pleasure to ride. Stands quiet for the farrier and hops right in the trailer and gets along well with the other geldings. This is a horse that most anyone would love and enjoy riding. We were told he is all Freisian but could be crossed with ? He has no vices or bad habits and is 100% safe sane and sound. He is trained to lay down to get on but we have not figured that out yet!  Super fun horse that will get you noticed! Sold! Sorry you missed him.
